The man smiled. A twinkle formed in his eye. He leaned over and whispered in her ear, “Sweetheart, I love you.”
“No,” she tenderly objected. “That’s not what I asked. I want you to tell the world!”
The man stood, stepped around the table, then knelt in front of her. He gently took her hand in his and looked deep into her eyes, “But sweetheart,” he whispered. “You ARE my world!”
