Window Watching 6

It was a dreary morning. My heart sank as I peered out the window. The thick gray sky robbed my heart of its hope. “Gonna be one of those days,” I thought.

Just then, two small birds flew across the dull gray canvas God had placed in the sky. They were the only life, the only animation to be seen through my window-framed view of the world. For just a second I was blessed to watch them swoop, dance, and play in flight. Then they were gone. The canvas returned to a lifeless, dull gray, but my hope was no longer threatened by it.

Matthew 10:29, 31 (NLT) “Not even a sparrow, worth only half a penny, can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. – So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to him than a whole flock of sparrows.”
